  • Monday training sessions - late afternoon 1.25 hour sessions - goalies only and all age groups (REGISTRATION IS CLOSED)
  • Friday training sessions - early afternoon 1.25 hour sessions - goalies only and all age groups (REGISTRATION IS CLOSED)
  • Fridays lite training sessions - mornings 50 minute training (25 minute goaltender training and 25 minute drills and small area games) - reserve by age group: high school/bantam/U15, peewee/U12, squirt/U10, mite/U8 (REGISTRATION IS CLOSED)

All participants are offered goaltender specific dryland training throughout the summer.

DRYLAND TRAINING CHANGE - We will be hosting a virtual dryland training program this summer due to limitations placed upon the number of athletes allowed at the facility. Those registered goalies will receive information on the virtual dryland training program. The program is tentatively set to begin mid-June. Thank you for your understanding of this change.

There are three sessions available per week to allow for convenient scheduling:

  • Monday, 10:30 am
  • Wednesday, 2:30 pm
  • Thursday, 9:00 am

Dryland training sessions will be held at Trois-Rivieres Training facility (main building) at 23705 67th Ave, St. Augusta. Athletes to wear comfortable clothing and footwear for these sessions.

10 Week Summer Training Program (Mondays OR Fridays) $525.00

We are pleased to announce that Trois-Rivieres Training is offering a 10-week summer goaltender training program at St. Cloud Municipal Athletic Center. This program has sold out over the past eight years. The 1.25 hour sessions will include station drills, group skating and movement drills, and session specific training points of emphasis:

  • Fundamental save techniques (Mastering the basics)
  • Movement enhancements (Slides, glides and pushes)
  • Situational decision points (Breakaways/2 on 0/ 2 on 1)
  • Play and puck movement behind the net
  • Puckhandling (Playing the puck with confidence)
  • Positioning play (Tips, screens, scrums)

The purpose of spreading this training over a longer period of time is for retention of drills and enable the reinforcement of techniques. Most hockey camps condense training into a short period of time and without adequate reinforcement of training and techniques, old tendencies slide back into a goalie's play.
